"Americana" IS Defined as an amalgam of American music formed by the confluence of the shared and varied traditions that make up the musical ethos of the United States. Come on a journey of musical Americana! This exciting and engaging Americana program will feature various musical portraits of America, reinforced by dialogue that will include the audience on this patriotic musical journey. The concert will feature familiar sounds recognized across American music performed by a vocalist, a pianist, and a trumpeter. You will have the chance to hear these artists work together, and separately, to provide you with an in-depth look into the classic American sound we all know and love. You will hear Ragtime, Blues, Jazz, Gospel, Folk, music, and more! Come join us for this wonderful musical experience as the Natchez Festival of Music presents "A Musical Portrait of America."
