11th Annual Oxford Fiber Arts Festival. There are opportunities to explore and share the love of all things fiber!
Fiber on the Square - come check out three fiber exhibits in on the Square at Oxford Square North, Faulkner's Alley, and the William Faulkner Statue in front of City Hall.
9:00am - 3:00pm: Field Trip to see the Union County Civil War Quilt Trail
9:00am - 11:00am: Stop by the Powerhouse to pick up a donut and map/instructions and drive to see their Quilt Trail. It began in 2013, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War in Union County - the year it was burned. While you are in New Albany stop by the museum to see their exhibit on textiles, quilts, embroidery and crochet, Quiet Work of Women and enjoy a reception from 12 noon-3 pm at the Union County Heritage Museum (114 Cleveland St. New Albany, MS).
2:00pm - 6:00pm: Fiber Fluency exhibit by Chimneyville Weavers and Spinners Guild Cooperative reception - appointments necessary
